RIIWHS205D CONTROL TRAFFIC WITH STOP-SLOW BAT
This course is designed to provide students with the skills, knowledge and qualifications required to control traffic on a worksite using a stop/slow bat. The course will enable participants to apply a systematic approach to their work with training in planning, equipment check, set up and pack up of traffic signs and barriers and working knowledge of the OH&S and regulatory requirements.
COURSE OVERVIEW:
Students will be able to plan their work and check the equipment, set up and pack up traffic signs and barriers, under direction, as well as being able to apply a working knowledge of the OH&S and regulatory requirements relevant to the role of a traffic controller.
Students are required to have general good health and fitness and any pre-existing medical conditions that will affect the training must be disclosed prior to attending. Students must also be able to use the English language at a level that enables the safe performance of work.
Some dress and equipment requirements must be followed to enrol in this close. All materials are supplied by AIO including trainees guide, workbook, resource materials, assessment paperwork and administrative documentation.
Training and assessment delivered on behalf of Go Workplace Training RTO 22464.
DURATION:
Approximately 8 hours of face-to-face training across one day
COURSE LOCATION:
Delivery of this course takes place at Hallam or Willamstown or on-site at your business by prior arrangement.
